YMC 2015 - Communication from Team Leader Lake Fishing - Mr. Sabin Georgiev

Dear friends – fishermen,

My name is Sabin Georgiev and I will be your fisherman guide at Pancharevo Lake on 18th of April.

Next to Sofia there are many wonderful places to fish, but Pancharevo Lake is one of the famous and beloved by us. Lake is divided on two parts and you can catch, depending which part you choose, different kind of fish. Some of it can be trophy specimens – like a 20 kg carp!

We have reserved for you enough equipment and bite, but you can also bring your own fishing equipment.

Lake is daily stocked with hungry trout, catfish, carp, pipefish, zander, bighead fish in order everybody to make their catch of the Year, not only for the Young Movers Conference.

So far we expect very nice, sunny weather with temperatures around 18’-22’C. We will provide also refreshing drinks and nice coffee.

Be prepared to see many people at the Lake area, because when the weather is fine everyone loves walking around.

Good luck, I’m looking forward to see you next week in Sofia.

Sincerely Yours,

Sabin Georgiev

From Team Leaders Go Kart, Mr. Kamen Alipiev & DJ Rady

Dear Young Movers,

This is Kamen Alipiev & DJ Rady, your Team Leaders GoKart. Skip the formalities, call us Cedar & Rady from now on, put on your helmets and fasten your seat-belts.

It is a great pleasure for us to be your hosts at the GoKart competition at the Sofia Karting Ring on April 18. Like every other group we will have a special mission, but anyway ours will be the hardest one, because we must stay sober until the end of the competition 😉 Not only because we must see who will be the fastest on track, but also for safety reasons.

Our plan is to take you with a bus from your hotels and bring you to Sofia Ring Mall where the Sofia Karting Ring is located. Your bus will leave sharp 9.30 local time from the Sheraton, pass by the Radisson at 09:36 to take the rest and we will start the competition around 10:10.

Sofia Karting Ring is probably the best GoKart facility in the country. The length of the track is 600 meters, width – 7.60 meters and it`s equipped with AMB timing system.

The competitors will be divided in groups and will receive instructions from the Marshals on track before the start.

Like every competition in the world, you will have the same target – to be as fast as you can and to win the first place at the final! The competition scheme is set by Mr. Yordan Vurbitzaliev – President of Bulgarian GoKart Federation, but anyway I know that it will be a piece of cake for you. The fastest racers will qualify for the next round and the number of the heats and rounds will depend on quantity of racers.

Of course we will have a professional motorsport photographer on the track and everyone will have their precious moments of Glory 😉 . DJ Rady will throw a huge party before, during and after the competition. It will take around three hours to complete and we hope that you`ll enjoy it.

Young Movers, actually Kamen is basketball commentator and don`t even have a driving license, so please don`t kill him if he makes some mistakes!

When the time comes you will receive a detailed information for your registration and starting order, so,

Ladies and Gentlemen – be ready to start your Engines!

We’re looking forward to see you soon in Sofia.

Best Regards,

Kamen “Cedar” Alipiev & DJ Rady

From Team Leader Hiking, Mr. Koko Stoynov

Dear Young Movers,
 Screen Shot 2015-04-06 at 12.03.30
My name is Nikola Stoynov, but my friends call me Koko, so you’ll have to call me Koko too:) It is my pleasure that I will be your guide to climb the Vitosha Mountain on April 18.

Our group has a special mission: climb the highest peak – Cherni Vrah (The Black Peak), at 2290 meters above the sea level and put there the YMC Flag.

The plan is to get by bus from your hotels to about 1800 meters altitude, then to continue on foot. The route is not heavy and at a moderate pace in both directions, usually takes about 4 hours, including a stay about 20 minutes at the top. There is a small hut with a tearoom. In good weather, there is a magnificent view of the highest Bulgarian mountains – Rila and the Balkan Mountains, which cross over whole Bulgaria.

To have maximum comfort in the mountains, to experience the pleasure of our trip and to avoid unnecessary risks, it will be very important to be properly equipped. In spring Vitosha is still snowy and wet, so even though we will go on well-trodden paths, in first place I recommend high waterproof hiking boots. It is also important for everyone to have a proper jacket, hat, sunglasses and to put in the backpack at least one T-shirt, sunscreen and vaseline lip.

We expect most of the terrain to be snow, with temperatures around 0’-4’C. Winds could be between mild and strong.

Once we install the flag at the peak, we will celebrate it, make pictures and head back.

Dear Young Movers, I’ve been dozens of times at the Black Peak in all seasons and after our upcoming adventure I expect that you will save the best memories of Bulgarian nature and you will want to visit other beautiful mountains of Bulgaria as well.

When the time comes I will send you a detailed weather forecast for Vitosha for 18 April.

I’m looking forward to see you soon in Sofia.

Regards,

Nikola “Koko” Stoynov
